OVER 13 ACRES OF WETLANDS
The renovation was done in tandem with Andrew Green, Anne Arundel County Watershed Protection and Restoration Program, and Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works. This has increased the wetlands to over 13 acres and will assist in protecting the waterways while providing drainage to the course which will provide a more enjoyable golf experience for our guests.

In addition to the wetland improvements the golf course has become more sustainable and assessable in the following ways:

  • Less chemical inputs due to new grass varieties
  • Less fuel and labor maintaining sand bunkers
  • Less watering due to Latitude Bermuda fairways and tees
  • Targeted watering with a state-of-the-art irrigation system
  • Retaining a walking friendly layout

Andrew Green has made use of strategic mounding and native fescue grasses to ensure that the visual appeal and challenge remain. See the work that went into making his vision a reality.
